Exchange Traded Funds have capitalized on these market moves by continuing to provide investors with new ways to express their investment theses and navigate the turbulent waters.
With the many market shifts we’ve seen throughout the year, we’ve decided to create a halftime report in order to highlight some of the biggest ETF moves and trends that have been observed so far this year.

One Week ETF Trends
US Listed ETFs – Equity – 1 Week Best & Worst Returns

Precious metals were the clear winners last week, with the ETFMG Prime Junior Silver ETF SILJ boosting over 15%.
Natural gas and oil services ETFs declined for the week. Mexico focused ETF EWW took a hit as the July 22nd deadline for a US & Mexico migration deal loomed.
US Listed ETFs – Fixed Income – 1 Week Best & Worst Returns

A number of International and US Treasury ETFs were among the top performers last week, with DFVL and FEMB taking the top spots in fixed income.
The VelocityShares Long LIBOR ETN ULBR fell from recent highs, dropping -3.86% by the end of the week.
US Listed ETFs – Equity – Top Inflows & Outflows

IVV saw almost a billion in inflows last week, while SPY saw $1.5B in outflows.
US Listed ETFs – Fixed Income – 1 Week Inflows & Outflows

High Yield corporate bond, HYG, led fixed income inflows last week with $563M pouring into the fund.
Short-term treasury ETFs saw large outflows last week, with over $500M leaving SHY.
